Question how much should it cost to rebuild my carb

I have a 92 DR350, the bike runs fine but the carb bleeds gas after it is turned off. I am told that the needle and seat as well as the float should be replaced. How much should this cost? Thanks.

You should probably get a carb rebuild kit. It shouldn't run you more than about $30 from a dealer. The kit will come with a needle, seat, and base gasket. Possibly some other misc. items. You shouldn't have to replace the float. After 7 bikes, none of which have been newer than 1985 I have yet to replace a float.

you probably just need to adjust the float, its really easy

heres how how to set your float :allthingsmoto.com

I think you have to join to see the pictures but its free and worth the time

to answer you original question it would probably run you around $60-80 to have a shop do it or around $20 for parts if you do it yourself
