| I am used to riding a jetted 2006 KLX300R and want to get something else. I would like to get either a Honda CRF250X, Yamaha WR250F, or KTM 250XCFW. I am open to ideas on what to get and am thinking of getting a 2 stroke. I usually ride on somewhat tight trails and frequently cross creeks. What should I get? |

| If you are a pure trail rider i would not get a 2 stroke.... But if you really want one i got a 86 RM250 i'll trade you for the KLX |

| The CRF250X is a great do it all bike. It is light, nibble, and has good suspension. Once you uncork it ( take the smog junk off ), it is plenty fast. There is also lots of aftermarket goodies offered for that bike so your options are wide open. Good luck & to the forum.

| Japanese bikes are awesome (I have 14 of them), but I would get a KTM if I were you. European bikes are fine, so fine (I only have one of them, but soon getting one more).

| Newbie | I love two strokes! but a four stroke is the way to go if you dont plan on going balls to the wall. and if your the kind of guy that likes to maintain his own bike. id suggest an older bike. those new bikes have so much electronic crap! cant really go wrong with any of those choices though! good luck! |
