Default Suzuki RM250 Oil Change?

I have recently bought a RM250, 1998/99 and neither me, nor my mechanically minded friends can work out how to change the oil.

Any info will be greatfully recieved.

drain bolt, probably 12mm, on the bottom of the motor. If its got a skid plate you'll have to remove that first

Cheers,

That's what we've been doing. It just seemed a bit primitive compared to a road bike.

primitive yes- thats the whole point of two strokes
no oil filter means you'll want to change the oil every few rides though

Drop the old oil, put in new, Motul 10W40 oil. Simple as that. The amount needed should be stamped right near your fill plug. My '03 is 750cc of oil.
