| your gonna need a lighting coil and most likely a new stator. what year is the bike, if its old enough to have been around when they were making the rmx you could get the parts you need from one of them. try checking out Baja Designs they are pretty much the only company that makes dual sport kits for mx bikes |

| Fender Buffer ![]() | Baja designs isn't the only one that makes a dual sport kit, just the most expensive. You can get a universal kit from pro-cycle Or assemble your own from junkyard parts. I haven't tested the stator output on my RM250 yet (because it isn't running yet) but it should be adequate for running lights. I however want to add a battery, blinkers, etc. so from what I have read it needs 70watts of output. If you decide to go that route you may be able to snag a stator from an RMX or you could re-wind your current stator. I can't remember the webpage I read a walkthrough on but we all know google is you friend. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
