|  Sticking idle
I have a 97 yamaha rt180 and I went and rode it today for the first time in a while. It had some trouble starting but thats probibly just bad gas. But my problem is it goes from regular idle to wot for no reason at all. For example, I can come to a complete stop with my hand off the throttle and it will jump to wot for no reason at all. It was doing this when I first got it and my dad shot some wd40 in the grip, it seemed to work but this problem keeps comming back and its getting worse. Wd40 doesnt affect it anymore. I want to fix the problem the right way so I dont have to keep messing with it. Thx for the help guys. |
