Default rm125 93, good for me?

I have just turned 14 and haven't ever owned my own bike but I am halfway through buying an Rm125 1993 for £500, it's a nice bike for 93 with 2003 decals and new seat and new renthal handle bar etc.
I was wandering whether this is the right bike for me to start off with, I will have no problems with maitenence cos me and my Dad are having it and he knows about all that stuff but how hard will the rm be for me to learn on?

This should be fine. Just watch the power band. Four strokes are easier to learn on as they don't stall like a 2 stroke does, and don't throw you off the back when you hit the power band and you're not ready for it, but once your used to it, 2 strokes are lots of fun (and fast).
