| I have a suzuki 92' dr350, all of the positions on the fuel petcock are on, I am unable to turn off the gas and even though the thing runs great it must have carb problems because the fuel fills the carb while not running and has a constant leak.

| That's usually a stuck float or a bad float needle, though I'm not familiar with your bike.

| thanks, I was told by another that that was probably what it is. I may get dirty and after the summer riding try and pull it out and see what it takes to fix it. I put a lawnmower fuel shut off valve in line to keep from siphoning out my gas each night. Works for now. If it was running poorly I would probably try the carb fix now but don't want to screw it up and loose riding time with nice weather. I bought it to play with at a vacation place I have in Northeastern Oregon, leaving Friday for the rest of the month. I am told it is not a difficult fix once you get it off. Thanks, again

| The "on" position uses engine vacuum to draw fuel into the carb, and is the closest thing to having an "off" setting. When the engine is not running, there is no vacuum and thus no fuel flowing. The "prime'" setting just allows the fuel to be gravity fed to the carb, and could fill the carb with gas if your float / overflow system is not working properly.
