Default hello, newbie here

Hi, I am a member of the Kawasaki board, I have a 2001 Nomad but recently bought a 93 Suzuki dr350 to take advantage of the back country of eastern oregon where we have a vacation place in the wallowa mountains. Most of the secondary roads are gravel and I didn't think it would be wise to get hot into a corner on the nomad. I will post some pictures later. Anyone with any input on the DR350, good or bad would be appreciated as I am new to the enduro type bike. I test rode a dr650 but it felt a little funny to me and thought it would be more bike than I needed for the little bit of dirt bike riding I have planned. Later.

Hi!! Welcome. I'm a newbie too!! I live in Oregon, beaverton area. I have a dr200. So far it's been a great ride (first bike) for me, but I also don't know any better. I also ride mostly on the street. I'll let someone more experienced give you helpful input...

I am right across the river from you meie, although the beaverton area traffic keeps me on this side of the bridge. Stay safe,
