| Hi everyone!! Can anyone suggest me some good dual sport tires (99% ridden on the street)? I commute to work with my Dr200, so most of my ride is on-road. Doing some basic internet searching, I looked at some dunlop radial tires (front tire is 19' and rear is 17'). Their descriptions said something like 80-90% on-road. Are those good? Any help appreciated!! THANKS!!! |

| sorry i miss read your post.........the tires i recomended (dunlop D606) are best suited for off road riding as they are a DOT knobbies. if your interested i have a set of original DR200 tires taken off my 2006 bike that have less then 50 miles on them.

| Hey~ the stock tires for the DR are bridgestone Trailwings right? Thats what I got on mine anyways~ are those good for mostly on-road use? I looked into michelin anakee dual sport tires, do you know if they are good or not? They are the only set of tires that are the same sizes as my stock but not knobbies. Thanks! |

| sorry i have never heard of the michelin tires you wrote about. when i got my dunlops i could not get the exact same size as the original tires so i got a set that are approx 10mm taller and it appears the rear tire is a little bit wider also. don't let finding tires in the exact same size as the originals (i think your right they are bridestone) worry you, get the tires you like in the closest size and you will be fine. like my dunlops they may be a little taller, wider etc. but they will work fine.

| The reason I want to get the same size is so I wouldn't have to get new wheels as well ( extra costs >.< , I'm poor ) How much do wheels usually cost? Here is a picture of the michelin ones below: BTW Thanks for your feedback!~ |

| go to a reputable motorcycle shop and they will get you the michelin tires you want in a size that will fit on your existing wheels. i did not have to buy new wheels when i bought my new tires even though they are not the exact same size as the bridestones that the bike came with. the original bridgestones were front: 70/100-21 rear: 100/90-18 my new dunlops are front: 90/90-21 rear: 120/90-18 differant size tires same wheels.
