| ok i got a rm 100 2 stroke and it runs but wont idle and i was riding it around works fine. so me and my friend dexcide to take the carborator apart. he said to woould make it run alot better. but we actually messed something up. i unscrewed the part with the nedle that the throttle controls then i couldt get it back in and then this metal ring that was holding it away from the threads to screw it on, when all the way down so it was flush. i dont really know what anu of that stuff is called. and there where like 2 hoses comming out of the carborator. one from near the top, and another from the bottom. couldn't find where they go so they are just hannging loose. and one tube from the engine wasnt plugged into anything after we put ut all back together. and somehow it ran awesomely and idled. but not for long, after aboout 10 minutes was like the engine wasnt getting any gas. untill you got it really revved up. then it had alot of high end power.and on the way back home. i had the throttle held all the way open and it was just putting. it was onnly running cause it was rolling with a couple "jolts" of gas every now and then. yes, the gas lines where turned on and there was gas in it, tried the choke and it did nothing. i think that there is something wrong with the throttle cause withj me holding it all the way open it was like BARLEY getting any gas. P.S anyone know the gas to fuel ratio for it? |

| Your best bet would be to get a manual and go over the carb again (it will also have the fuel ratio for it). You may have clogged one of the jets. Also make sure there are no air leaks around the air box connection and reed connection on the carb

| ok, how do i get a maneul? i didnt come with one and i dont live near a suzuki dealer. im gunna try to find one on the internet. do you know if all the hoses coming out od the carb ar supposed to be not connected to anything? and there is one in the engine. ill probly have pictures of it on monday cause the dike is out of town where i go on weekends. i think that the hoses arent supposed to bve connected to anything cause a suzuki strewet bike came to my work today and we filled it with air and his carb looke like they where all just hanging into nowhere. |
