Default 1981 Suzuki RM100????

Just curios if a newer or even older 125-250 RM motor will bolt into the same frame as a 1981 100 RM. My motor in my bike went after about 25 minutes of riding and i don't really wanna even rebuild the 100 if i can get a newer or even older 125-250 to fit in the frame with little or no mods. There seems to be a tight spot in my motor when the piston is about half way up the cylinder and there are quite a few metal particals in the crank case

I tore the motor down and found that it is my crank bearings and connecting rod bearing that have crapped out, so i will need to do a total rebuild on the bottom end. Not even sure if it is worth it at this time

You might have a hard time finding those parts for a 22 year-old bike anyway. Perhaps you could get a motor off Ebay?
