Default DR200 Carb Question

Hello all, I just got a Suzuki DR200 from a friend and the carb on it is all messed up. Wondering if you guys can help since I'm new to dirt bikes/motorcycles. The carb is a mikuni and for some reason fuel is getting to the front needle. The bike does run because we squirted gas in the carb and jumped started it...is there a way to maybe clean out some built up gunk so fuel will come out of the needle.

Thank you for all of your help!!

Well, I think its just clogged up but I might just get a new carb for it. At one point in time someone took the carb apart and then used silicone to seal it back up. There was a bunch of old nasty silicone sitting in the bottom of the fuel bowl. Also, there is a little plunger on the right side of the carb that doesn't even do anything. I'm thinking that it acts like an accelerator pump to push the fuel from the bowl through the carb.

There's got to be someone here that knows what I'm talking about here. Please help!

Oh yeah and the choke moves in and out but won't stay open all the time. There's a plastic piece thats broken on it too that keeps the choke open.
