it was great when it running properly.. it could beat alot of newer models specialy in a straight out drag..

Simple things first.
1) Put a brand new sparkplug in the bike
2) Make sure the Fuel tap screen is clean by removing the entire unit from the tank
3) Check your kill switch is not damaged
4) Make sure the Sparkplug wire and cap are in good condition and not dry rotted

I failed to mention in the other post that you need to check the float height and adjust it to spec. When you cleaned the carb you may need to reset it. Also if your exhaust has enough cracks to cause the pipe to loose backpressure then it would need replacement or welding as it will cause these type of issues.

i all ready done all that.. it didn't do much.... jus made it blow a little less smoke.. i think it might be my power valve... coz it ran fine untill after i droped gear after realy pushing.. i think i went too ast.. n droped gears to fast.. so my teacher at skool.. who is full into motorcross.... he's liek top 10 in Qld i think.. he told me it'll probably be my power valve... but thanx for all that.. i'll keep the progress posted
