|  Problem with 1985 DR250
Hi, I'm new to this and relatively new to bikes too! My DR250 has a problem, it keeps blowing the head light when reving. I changed out the regulator with a second hand one (the little steel box thing with the three pin prongs sticking out the bottom thats attached to the battery suround) but it didn't solve the problem, it still blows the head light (in Oz this is a big problem as It head lights on all the time). Any Ideas? Also the wire that lights up the neutral indicator light is flapping in the brease but I dont its origin (I'm assuming near the gearbox somewere). Where does it plug in? The circut works as the light turns on when i touch the end of the wire to any part of the gearbox housing. Any ideas or help would be most appreciated Dave |
