Default What dirtbikes did Big Green make for 1989?

A friend is giving me a "it used to run great" 1989 Kaw something-or-other. I haven't seen it yet, but he says it's a 175 and doesn't have a headlight. I've Googled my butt off but can't come up with what it is.

Any ideas? He says it needs carb work and a kick starter lever, so I'd like to get aquainted with the model.

Ok, after way too much searching I think he's mistaken and it's older than that. I'm thinking a KD or KE 175, which they apparently quit making in the mid-80's. This should be fun.

Well, it looks like it's a KDX200 from 1988. I have the carb, but it's in need of a rebuild. Who can tell me what else to expect?

Well, I started taking it apart today. I'll add up the parts I need and see where I'm at. Any tips on how to check the condition of the cylinder? That's my main concern, along with the tranny, of course.
