Default Leaking Fork Seals

Went riding in very muddy conditions. Noticed the other day a little fork oil leaking. I don't think the seal is gone because it is not leaking really bad. This just started the day after the really muddy ride. Any ideas

The seals are starting to leak means they are going to need replacment soon. You can ride the bike for as long as you can but eventually the seals will leak so bad you will need to replace them.

Read somewhere in a magazine that an old piece of 35mm film wrapped around your fork and slid up under the seal may be able to clean the grime that caused the leak. Its kind of a 50-50 I guess. When I tried it, didnt work. Worth a try though because youre going to have to change them anyways.
