Default 90 RM250 power

Im having a problem with power delivery when im on the gas the power is fine down low the about midrange there is a dead spot and then it hits powerband im wondering what could be causing the dead spot at about midrange level?

in know this kid who's dad had a kx125 and he said that his would accelerate and then spit and sputter then he would turn the gas and the bike would flip him over backwards. he said that his gas vent tube came off and a little water got in his tank, he thought. i don't know if that is what your bike is like. did you run through any puddles? big puddles?

Start by cleaning the carbs Main jet, Needle jet, Slow jet, Float bowl, Needle valve.
