160 Quadrunner - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Is this a good quad for a beginner, I`m 17 of age and live in Namibia. Very hot and harsh conditions here. The bike is used and needs lots of attention. will this bike be able to pull my weight comfortably? weigh about 170 lbs. Bike must be round a 1990-1995 Suzuki 160 Quadrunner.

It is ok for a beginner but if it needs a lot of work it may not be worth it to bother. You could find newer ones for less money than it would cost to get this one running.

thanks for the great advice!! But idd rather stick with the quadrunner, it has a sentamental value cause its my first bike.

I would also want to find out if the Suzuki 160 Quadrunner (1990-1995) is equipet with a powerband of some kind if not can I install something like that on this quadrunner? And how?
