| Get rid of the heavier springs. Barnett makes some springs that I used for one moto and I came in and felt like my forearms were bigger than Popeye the Sailormans! I took them out and put the stock ones back in.

| i just tried messing with the clutch to make it easier and i noticed that the clutch is dragging on the bike. i know it has heavy duty clutchsprings, so could the springs be so stiff that they are keep in the clutch slightly engaged. because when i stop and just pull in the clutch i have to rev it to keep it going and when i do it creeps foward.

| i took apart the clutch earlier today and i took Most the discs and friction plates out,i say most because i coulden't get the last few, cutch and friction plates out and i didnt want to change the transoil so i did it with the bike on its side that could have contributed to me not getting the last few out, but the friction plates did not look warped and the clutch basket looked normal, if i buy stock springs and put those in will it decrease the drag? because the bike always creeped a little bit when you give it gas with the clutch in.

| Hi, I recently opened up the clutch side, removed all plates and lubed them up with 10 W 40 motor oil. I also noticed that when I shift into first the motor would stall unless I rev it up and then shift into first.Sometimes it would be fine but most times I have to rev it up. Should I replace clutch plates and springs or will it wear in with time? Thanks |

| Do your homework,It is a Suzuki Thang,I got it like that too with my 00 125 I agree with the earlier post,Look at the basket and if there is grooves File them out,Go with stock springs and new Pressure Plates and Fibers, and last but by no means the least, spend $10.00 on a new cable, you may wanna do that first, and as far as oil goes,Bel Ray Gearsaver,Honda Gear oil,Stay away from Synthetic Motor oil,You can even run GM automatic transmission fluid, Whatever you use do not overfill-This will cause your clutch to drag,I think 750cc on them there RM,s which eqates to 2/3 quart, Good Luck |
