Default 1987 RM80 cylinder

I have a 1987 RM80 . I have searched and found nothing yet....I blew my top end, nothing big. When I got my new piston and ring they were too small. I didnt find out until I put it all back together and ran it . I wound up having to get the sleeve pressed out, but while in process my head/cylinder cracked. I have only found OEM for 350. I was wondering if anyone knew any places I could find one cheaper, new or used. I have found nothing on ebay as of yet. Also could another year bike cylinder work? If so what model years? Thanks for all the help......

Why not send the bad cylinder to www.mt-llc.com and have them fix it for you? They are the best in the business and I swear by their work. send them a new piston that you plan to use in the rebuild and they will repair the cylinder to AS NEW condition and to exact specs.

Email them I bet they can! I had an RGV 250 cylinder that was so bad I used it as a paper weight. One day I decided to throw it in the garbage. Then I reached into the garbage and pulled it out and as a joke, I sent it to them and they sent it back reapaired and as good as new! This cylinder has logged over 4,000 miles without any problems. For that matter I have never had a single problem with any work they have performed. They are THE BEST company in the business as far as cylinder work goes.
