| I am looking for the stock suspension settings for a 2003 RM250. I don't have a manual anymore, as a friend lost my cd-rom at work. Well, he was doing me a favor by printing it out.

| Fork rebound damping (top adjuster) is the 9th click form bottomed out (Turn clockwise until bottomed then 9 clicks couter clockwise) Fork Compression damping (bottom adjuster)tuen clockwise till bottomed then 9 clicks out. Rear shock Low speed compression damping (The middle screw on the Res) Clockwise until bottomed and cout 9 clicks out from bottom. High speed compression (outer ring on Res) Clockwise until bottom and 1 1/2 turns out Rebound (on top by the shock mounting bolt) clockwise until bottomed then 10 clicks out That is standard which I found was to soft. Take your time and find a good section of track and make adjustments. Your aim is to get both the front and rear to react as close to the same as possible. This way the bike is not like a bucking Bronco. Once you get it balanced then you can fine tune it to certain tracks. |

| Thanks Dave, but I just bought another cd-rom. I set the bike to your settings, and it made a serious difference! The fork compression was too soft, about 5 clicks out too far. The thing jumps much better now. I guess it was slammping into the jump faces before.
