Default Oil Drain Plug Savage

Yes I can.
Lean the bike over to the Right. The drain plug is on the bottom of the engine just behind the frame tube. Spanner size 17 MM AF.

Good luck

I changed the oil and the oil filter last Sunday. Started the motor and it ran great. However, when I tried to shift into first or second gear, the engine stalled. Did it several times with the same result. Finally, the bike started and didn't show this problem throughout the day. Next day however there were stalls all the time and I gave up trying after some time. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Sounds like either a bad kickstand switch and/or your clutch plates sticking. What type of oil did you use for your oil change ?, a motorcycle specific oil or other ( engine oil lubes the transmission also ). Your clutch may need ajusting also.

If you start the bike and pull in your clutch lever a couple of times to get the oil to coat the plates before engaging the gears does the problem go away ?.
