My 2004 LC1500 has a wobble problem when decelerating. If you accelerate up to about fifty miles an hour,, then let off the throttle,, when the bike hits about 45 to 40 mph it starts to wobble,, and it will do it until it hits about the 30 mph mark. It is really worse if you are just holding it with one hand. I have let go of the handlebars hovering my hands barely above it to witness it and see what it does and it really gets to shaking. At about 75 to 80 mph or above it also shakes alot.
Any Ideas???? I am taking it into the dealer tomorrow. He said it sounds like a wheel out of balance? I am not too sure on that so I asked him to check the round of the tire and rim and he said he would. I jacked the bike up and held the forks from moving and then spun the wheel. It looks like the tire is slightly warped or it has a high spot.
My 1500LC service manual says it could be forks out of balance, bent rim, bad tire, bad bearings, bad axle,,, what do you all think? It only has 4400 miles on the bike and tires. I hate to ride it anymore because it is getting worse and it would suck to blow out a steer tire on a bike....
