Maybe I should stick to walking, but then I'd probably trip. Well I am not sure what to think. I put that brace on it and that is all. But then I immediately removed the brace after it made it worse. What the h*ll!!!!! I think the forks are the problem or the bearings are screwed. If the dealer says there is nothing wrong with it I am dmending to ride a C90 or another 1500 and see if they do it. I guess Tuesday will be the day to find out. Pretty much the dealer didn't have time to look at it Saturday afternoon,, too close to "Miller Time" I guess.

I will keep ya posted. If anyone knows if there is a way to check the alignment of the forks I would like to know. That way I can tell the dealer if he comes back and says there is no aligmnent spec for it.

After the new tire was mounted, did you not go on a couple of long rides. I thought everything was great. Then you were talking about airpressure and then the brace and bang we are back to a problem.
Maybe you better plan a trip up here, you get into to much trouble down there.
Maybe it's the beer your drinking, switch to wine, you may meet a better class of women. Or check out starbuck's.

Yea I put about 200 miles on the tire. I never did change the air pressure yet. It still had that wobble a little. It wasn't as bad as before the tire change. After I put that brace on it got worse, then I pulled the brace back off and it was still acting up. I don't know what to think about it unless maybe one of the front forks are retaining pressure or something more than the other. I am at a loss, hopefully the dealer will figure it out. When I look at the service manual it says possible causes will be bad tire, bad rim, bad bearings, bad steering head or loose bearings, forks out of balance, bent forks, etc. So hopefully the dealer will look at the trouble shooting section.

When you put the brace on did you have to remove the wheel? If so maybe you put it on backwards.

Hey sean make then change the bearings anyway and tell them this is a safety issue not a money one. If the won't call suzuki and tell them they are refusing to change them.

No,,,my A$$ won't tolerate the M50. I have too big of a gut for the C50 (just kidding),, I might do that,,tell them to change the bearings. That might not be a bad idea. Will have to call them after 9:00 today and talk to them. I brought in my official "Suzuki Shop Manual for the VL1500". So today I can talk from it and not my A$$. Thanks,,good idea!!!

Well the dealer just called and said that me bolting the aftermarket pipes to it is probably what has called my problem. They cannot duplicate it they said. They said that they noticed a little shimmy but nothing major. So their excuse is the aftermarket Hard Krome pipes from the vibration of the pipes are causing the phenomenom I am experiencing. Whatever,,, they said that they would be happy to ride on the back of it with me and see if I can duplicate it. So I guess I will call Hard Krome and see if they have ever heard of that. More to come I am sure.

WELL......Just called Hard Krome,,they say it is the first time they have EVER heard of that before,,,what the H*LL!!!!! EEErrrrrrr....

Well they said there is nothing they can do about it. If they cannot duplicate it then Suzuki will not pay for it. In other words I will have to come out of my pocket $300.00 to replace bearings on the wheel and the steering head bearings. I cannot get down there to try to ride them on it because of the frickin' rain!!!!!!

I am going to pull my dang hair out!!!! What is left of it!!!!!

Sean go to freewheeling and have them look at it, but dont tell them what you have changed on the bike. Let them find it on there own.

If freewheeling is a good shop, go for it. Second opinion is better, than not knowing.
What is a small problem can become a bigger one. We have come to look forward to the daily sage of stp1971, so take precautions.
Ride safe.

Yeah,, I am going to try to go down there and ride it tonight if it isn't raining. Kinda tired of not being able to ride my "NEW" bike..... I will let everyone know later what I find.
