|  Installed V & H Straight Shots today
Well with hurricane Dennis making life outside miserable today and the garage nice and cool, I installed my Straight Shots today along with the K&N filter. I have sound clips but cant figure out how to get them under the size limit on this forum. If your interested send me a private message and your E-Mail address and I will send them to you. The differance in sound is incredible.  Both clips were made with the same mic settings and position. Oh yes, I left the baffles in and they will stay in. Many thanks to Zukidude for his detailed instructions. Every thing fit perfectly. I have been reading in various posts about the question of exhaust gaskets, some are unaware that they are located in the exhaust ports. The pixs that I have uploaded hopefully will clear this up.Picture one is the old gasket (copper colored) Picture two Is removing old gasket Picture three is old gasket ready to come out Picture four is the old gaskets with the tool I used to remove them Picture 5 is a new gasket notice the 2 tabs, They are on one side of a new gasket. The tab side goes in next to the engine block, they will bend and hold the gasket in place. Hope this clears up any confusion  Next is the power commander, maybe next week |
