| I had the same doubt when I was planning to buy a bike 3 months ago.... I decided for the M50 because his 150 cc plus, water cooled and fuel injection. Beside I like more his style than the Vstar..... Here in Mexico, the Vstar is 1,000 usd more than M50......

| Sister has the V star - I have the M50 I think they are both good bikes. The V Star lacks something - cant put my finger on it - (power?) The M50 seems to have just a bit more in each dept. The V star definitely has the best seat! They both could do with another gear! The pegs on the V star seemed to be in the wrong position - but I guiess you get used to them. |
