I have a new '06 C50 and I dropped it for the first time this morning. I was at a stop sign and leaned over a bit trying to adjust my pants. I leaned too far to the right and lost control...the bike took me down all the way. I muscled it back up and pushed it over to the side of the street. I have some scratches on the pipes and the mirror was bent. Those things I can live with, but now I'm noticing a high pitched whine, like you hear with a flourescent light bulb. I can hear it when the bike is in idle and it wasn't there before I dropped the bike. Could I have messed up my bike? I rode it after and nothing else seems to be affected...just that noise. Any ideas what it could be? I dropped it on the throttle and brake side, not the gearshift lever side......Thanks

Hi Stanley

On the front page, lower down is a thread called Mechanics corner.
If you post this question there you will get a better response.

It is hard to give you an answer long distance. What I would suggest is stop into the dealer where you bought the bike and speak to the service manager.
Just tell what happen and he should listen to the bike and you will have peace of mind.

Hopefully it will not happen again.
