| I just got my C50 home today, of course it just HAD to rain half way here. Oh well it will give me a chance tomorrow to get up close and personal when I wash it. First Mod will be to remove the silly warning sticker on the tank. I found out to day that 15 year old helmets will cause you to look like you have black out on your face. Haven't used it in 10 years. So a new skull cap will have to be purchased. My wife thought it was real funny when I took it off when I got home. First impressions; Real smooth and comfortable and confidence inspiring in handling. Love the C50t Windshield and lite bar that I had installed. Floor boards will have to be an acquired taste let alone the heel on toe shifter, it was strictly toe today. I hate rumble strips, |

| Refrigerator Magnet Test Engineer ![]() | Sorry to hear about the rain. But I feel your pain. Been laid up for a week with a bad ankle. I do agree with you on a lot of the point you made of the C50. Especially the sound of the pipes. But I love the bike and think it was a great choice, for me. Enjoy the cleaning tomorrow.

| Same thing here in Oregon as far as the rain goes. Not as tropical here but rain is rain. The tired old saying here is "if you don't like the Oregon weather, just wait 30 minutes and it will change". I often go out riding on a partly cloudy day, mostly white fluffy clouds and within a 30 minute ride it can be pouring down rain.Haven't officially "washed" the bike and I have had it 2 months. The manual says you should not soak this area with a hose and be careful about that area, if your out in a rain storm everything is going to get soaked! I have wiped it down with a damp rag and waxed it. It has been 10 years since my last bike too. I thought it was less than that but it's been that long. I will often be cruising along not thinking about anything in particular and the realization will pop into my head that I actually have a motorcycle again! I'm 54 now and I will never be without a bike again! I agree with you on the tachometer. But everyone says that it is unnecessary. I don't care, I still want one.
