 |  Engine Gaurds???? Are the factory ones good?
I am looking to buy a set of the factory engine gaurds for my 2004 Intruder 1500LC,,, I am looking at the ones they have listed on the Suzuki web site for the 2005 Boulevard,, my understanding is that they will fit the '04 Intruder 1500. The question is are they strong, are they optimum as far as width, will highway pegs bolted to them allow for a comfortable riding position, and quality in regards to corrosiveness (good chrome plating) ?  Or would I be better off getting a set of Cobras or another aftermarket set?  The dealer is selling me these for $119.00 a set,,, which I would like to believe would fit better and be more durable. Since after all it is genuine Suzuki,,, what do you all think?  |
