Default Engine Knock Under Hard Acceleration
I have read some posts that say some/all 805cc engines have engine / spark knock. Is this true?? If they all do it, that's one thing and I guess you have to live with it. If some or a few do it, that's another thing and I'll need drop off the bike and have it looked at. As for my bike, I have a 3 week old C50 with about 400 miles on it. To pinpoint the RPM point it happens at, I put it in 5th and accelerated throughout the powerband and it seems to happen only at 60MPH through about 67MPH, which I am guessing from the sound of the engine is about 2,500 RPMs, but that is just a guess. I tried putting super unleaded (93) in the tank and that did seem to help a bit. Thoughts?!?!
