Default Replacing C50 brake lever a DIY job.

Broke mine last night during a graceful slow-motion fall. Part is on order. Can I replace it myself with the hydraulics and all?

ha..."graceful slow motion fall" .... that made me laugh. glad it wasnt anything serious.

you shold be able to. people install their own forward controls annd such...i think the lever should be just a couple bolts. the arm that goes back should just disconnect and reconnect. (havent looked at mine, but was helping a friend fix his forward controls and it seemed pretty easy).

You only replace the handle. Should be one bolt and a nut . Look under the handle for the engagement of the brake light switch.
