ok, something i was worried about when i was waiting for the M50 to come out is the amount of time i would be happy with an 800cc. I ride with three other people who drive: a VTX1300 and 2 Vulcan 1500's. When we get going out on the open roads, we get going over 80 sometimes (and not that i am saying they go to fast for my taste, just saying we do want to go that fast at times). i feel like my bike is starting to really have to work to do that speed. also, i go through the gears faster than they do and feel like i need a 6th gear even at 50 mph or so. im not too worried about it right now, but over the next few years, am i going to wish i had a bigger engine? i know a lot of people here ride 800cc bikes with the marauder guys, a couple M50's, and of course a TON of C50 people. do you guys ever think about this? do you larger cc guys think you wouldnt like being on an 800? . |
