|  Looking for first real bike
I have been looking around at Maruaders(800) and Shadows(750) to get a feel for what I would like to buy as my first bike. Before I get people saying to start with something smaller; I do have experience on a 350 Enduro and few other random bikes from relatives. I am not looking to spend too much and I am really in love with the Marauder. I have been looking at a few 98 - 2000 Marauders that have anywhere from 9k miles to 17k. I feel as if 17k miles is a little high, but I am also unsure how long these things are intended to hold up. I am also not sure of what sort of things to look for when purchasing. What should I feel for on a test ride and look forwhen taking a look at the bike? Also, I know I'm in the Suzuki section...but what are some of your thought and inputs between a Shadow and Marauder?
