Default Why is the S83 air-cooled when the S50
is liquid-cooled?

I'm ignorant on these matters. I've always assumed that a liquid-cooled engine is slightly superior, but I must be wrong because Suzuki has an air-cooled engine on the bigger, more expensive bike.

Thoughts?
