Coming back today from an hour long ride (Have to take advantage of the good weather) I have to travel on a main stree 4 lanes to take short cut to home. 2 guys with VERY LOUD bikes (HD Black verything) Roard down the street so fast or very load that I could hear one of them start kicking out at a high RPM.

2 months ago I took the baffle out of my honda's (tunner car) muffler and with in 2 weeks I got 2 tickets for load noise. Do the cop's just turn there heards when these bike go by. My car was only half as loud as these bikes.

I keep thinking the same thing but then I go and start reading it some more. I honestly think that a lot of the guys who knock Harley's are secret admirers. Kind of like the little boy who pulls the little girls pony tail. Really he likes her and is just looking for attention

The loud that the tin box makes is offensive to my ears but the loud noise of a Harley is music to the ears

That reminds me.........Once upon a time.....long, long, long, ago, when I was in the Second Grade. I pulled a girl's pigtails. It earned me something along the lines of this:

For what its worth...I have had the 2005 C50 BLACK since Feb. Got it new. I have over 7,000 miles on it. I got it because it was cheap..my wife had never ridden and I did not want to spend alot of money on somethng that I would just use for the 30 mile a day commute. That said...wife loves to ride...I am now in the planning stages of figuring out just what I want for my/our next ride. The reason is I want to tour and even with the Mustang seat my wife gets numbness in her leg. So the determining factor here is which one does she feel the most combfortabel on. Maybe if I stopped every 60 to 75 miles to stretch, BUT I am "a hammer head". Her quote. I have 7.5 years till retirement (but who's counting) LOL. So I am looking at the Goldwing with comfort package AND the new 96" FLHTC..thats the Electraglide Classic. Both about the same price. So I never EVER thought that I would concider a Harley but now its getting serious. It is a MIDLIFE crises and the wife says its cheaper then a Blonde.

Once you get beyond the somewhat similar techno-gizmos, two very different bikes... but it sure presents a wonderfully delicious dilemma...
