The price per litre in Australia varies between AU$0.99 and AU$1.09 at the moment. Thats about US$0.77 - US$0.85. My fuel light usually comes on around 170km (105 miles) and will take AU$10 to fill. Since the tank is supposed to hold 15 litres, I reckon I have 4-5 litres still in the tank. The book states "When the fuel in the tank dops below 4.0 liters, this indicator light comes on." This would seem to indicate that the light is reasonably accurate and I am using about 10-11 litres per 170km..if my calculations and conversions are correct, then I'm only getting about 40mpg!

That doesn't sound very economical to me..and I only ride to and from work..about 10-15 minutes ride.

About $1.85USD / gallon here in Kentucky today - for 87 octane, about 50 cents / litre.

Running about $1.87(US) around here for 87 octane. But look to it to bump a bit... just went up to $49(US) a barrel thanks to the North Sea outfits.

btw, ozbound, it costs be around $33-$35(US) to fill up my Isuzu Rodeo. Usually around $5 to fill up my C50. For now.

The Suzuki web site states in the discription that the C50 has a digital fuel gauge. I wonder if they mean you keep an eye on the trip meter when you last filled the tank? I do not call that a gauge.

It means they typo'd the re-edit of the '04 info. I emailed them a while back about it, but they don't read my e-mails...

87 Octane gas is $1.68/gallon here today - which means that the 93 octane my stupid car demands is only $1.88/gallon. That's better!

Accuracy of the gauge or not withstanding I'd say you need to get at least a thousand miles on it before your mileage will settle in. The enginge needs more breakin time.
