My cell phone plan does not cover motorcycles either, only cars.

Who is your carrier?
edit: I just went to verizon's site and looked at the roadside assistance section. It certainly doesn't say motorcycles aren't allowed and it doesn't have more than two axles. here is the text from Verizon's site:
"Roadside Assistance does not cover RVs, boats, trailers and/or vehicles with more than two axles and/or more than four wheels, any vehicle designed or modified for commercial or heavy-duty use (e.g., limousines, emergency vehicles) or vehicles exceeding 10,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight."

i have progressive insurance on my motorcycle and on my truck and car. i never filed a claim with the bike but did with the car. it had a whole 9800 miles on it . baught the car new for 21,000 and change. the total repair bill was 13,ish.and never had a rate increase. so i will stay with progressive untill they start acting like the rest of the insurance crooks. i am going to check with aa to see if they cover my bike..

You might have better luck with AAA, if you go to AA and ask that question you might get some strang looks.

Default Roadside Assistance

I have AAA and they consider motorcyles as an RV. I needed to purchase RV coverage to be covered for motorcycle. Maybe the same option with Verizon since I see that the list of exclusions included RVs.

I have seen bikes covered under RV with other companies as well. Not sure why. Big difference between a RV and a bike.
