|  Do I need to get a taller windshield?
1 week ago I purchased my first bike in 35 years. I got the Vstar 950 Tourer. The short windshield on the bike was a concern before I even bought the bike, but the salesperson assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Now that I've had the bike for a week I can say that there is a problem. When I hit 55 mph, it feels like someone is batting me upside my head. The turbulence is not only annoying but dangerous because I'm too focused on trying to get out it. The tourer model has the shortest windshield. I'm thinking about going to the medium, which is 4 inch taller. Do you think this will help or is there another solution I should be looking at such as a lower liner? |
