As the title suggets, I have found a Vulcan 1500 for sale. The bike has a whopping 14,000 miles on it and the price is $2995. KBB says it's worth about that - providing that it has about triple the mileage on it. What is wrong/unusual/quirky about this bike? Did a bit of digging and the commentary was "front brake tends to fade, the handling isn't all that great on twisties.........." and the usual remarks from somebody used to riding something more cbr/gsxr oriented. I understand the bike is closing in on 15 yearls old, but the bike was nearly 10 grand when new. Although the bike does not have a fairing, saddlebags or a trunk (mounted on a rear rack) so it is pretty much stripped for this kind of bike. |
