| Hi everyone, I am a new guy to Japanese bikes. I have recently sold my Harley (the second I have owned) and just drove home a brand spankin' new LC 1500. I'd just like to say that even though I got caught in a rain storm on the way home, this was an awesome 20 mile ride home. What a motorcycle. I'd like to say that I purchased this mega machine after reading some of the postings here in this forum, (Doc--I really appreciate your no BS approach) and looking over the other offerings available in the market. WHAT A SCOOTER! Thanks folks! I look forward to any and all information/advice you throw my way. Bill

| Forgive my ignorance, but what is a Lc 1500? A Harley biker that bought a Japanese "Rice burner" as the American Harley driver calls the Japanes motorcycles ever so often. Understand me well, i have nothing against a HArley. If you like to be nostalgic, a Harley is your best choice. But I prefer a much modern approach to riding a bike. Can you please post a picture of your bike? Regards Kropatchek with the Savage

| The LC 1500 refers to the INTRUDER 1500 LC. As for the Harley's I have owned, don't get me wrong...they were fun, but after a bunch of miles and many numb hands and butts it was time to look for a {COMFORTABLE} ride that looked totally awesome, had a hefty power plant, and didn't cost half of my annual salary.

| OK folks...here she is. Bought yesterday and already has over a hundred miles on the odometer. I took the better half on an 80 mile putt to see how she likes it. Needless-to-say the bike earned a spot in the garage. The photo is from the web, but this the same color and it is outfitted exactly as mine...for now.

| Harleys are cool, but I love my Intruder too much to even want to switch. The bike does not make the rider, and rider is what being a biker is all about. Ride what you like. I say if they don't like what I ride they can buy me what they like. I might sell it but they can buy it for me. Cath you on the highways.

| Newbie | I too have a brand new 1500 LC. Well, I put 600 miles on it this month, but it's close to brand new still! Difference for me is this is my first motorcycle, and at 37, I took a long time to pick one! I love my LC. I put on ISO grips, and switched the tires to ME 880's right away, but LOVE the LC. | Congratulations and Welcome Aboard! I love my LC, one of the best purchases I have made. Comfortable (which you will soon discover in depth), good power, easy on the wallet and good economy combined with a gorgeous design is a combo that is hard to top. On top of that there are a couple of awesome forums (this is one) where you will find answers to questions you don't have yet.
