Default LED Turn Signals: Should I use NARROW or WIDE beam version?

SupperBrightLEDs.com has 24 led 1156 and 1157 lamps in White, Amber, and Red, that measure 1.02" dia, so that they will fit through the center hole in the reflector in our turn signal lenses. They have 18 forward facing LED's and 6 radially mounted behind that reflect off the lens reflector.

They sell for $7.49 per lens, and, from the reviews that I have been able to come up with, seem to be very bright, good quality LED lamps.

They come in NARROW Bean & WIDE Beam versions. The NARROW cover an 18 degree angle of view, while the WIDE cover a 100 degree angle of view.

It would seem that the NARROW would be more intense over a more focused angle of view, while the WIDE would be less intense, but over a wider angle. I think that we want to be seem mostly from in front and from behind, making the NARROW the best for motorcycle turn signals.

QUESTION: Does any one know, for sure, if motorcycles should use the NARROW or WIDE beam for front and rear turn signals?

BTW: They also have a nice, small, two wire (LOAD & 12V In) Motorcycle Flasher in both the separate pin and flat plug versions for $8.95.
