You should try 55f + rain with a half helmet and no shield...

I ride almost everyday without a shield, and 90% of the time no shield, you get used to the wind noice after a while, or you can do ear plugs...

Holey crap, $36 for a visor, I only paid $99 for the whole helmet.

I guess if it really is scratch resistant it would be worth it, the one that came stock on mine got scratched up just from bugs hitting it.

ya... mine got all scratched too
mine came with a clear and a smoked... so i can swap out to the clear... but the smoke looks cooler

They are Nexx helmets. More options are available to the rest of the world than is available in the U.S.

They have the "Air" which has a lot of holes in the side, so should be cool in the summer. The Air is one that is available in the U.S.
