 |  Vulcan 900 Custom SE vs. M50
For some reason I'm having a very hard time deciding between these two. I've only sat on the Vulcan so far and found it very comfy and it fit me well, but I'm going in about an hour to sit on the M50 (an 06 but just to get an idea). I love everything I've read about both bikes but there are 2 things I need advice on... Popular mechanics did a review on the 900 and said that the front tire was prone to lock up. As this is my first bike should I steer clear of this machine? Also, it doesn't handle AS well as the M50 but still very good...going back to the front tire being on the thin side. I just wanted to get your thoughts on this as I had my heart set on the M50 until I saw the 900 Custom SE...how can you not love this bike?!?  So hot. The review is really eating away at me though...so I'm on the fence about dropping it as a contender. Thanks in advance guys. |
