Default How much should I try to talk them down

Went and looked at a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 900 tonight. A really nice bike with just about every accessory I want (windshield, backrest, saddlebags, footboards). It has right at about 13k miles on it and the dealership is asking $6999 for it (a brand new one without the accessories goes for $8300 at the same dealership). I know the $6999 is more than KBB says it's worth, but this is Hawaii and things do cost a little more out here. How much should I try to talk them down before ultimately just walking away from the deal? I currently am riding a 1998 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 with 8500 miles which the dealership is willing to give me $3k for.

I can live without it, but I'd really like to get the Vulcan because the Marauder seems a little small for me and the wife says that I look like I'm riding with my knees in my chest. Plus it has all the goodies on it that I want. So realistically what should I be aiming for here? Thanks
