He was being funny.

Now excuse me if I took this the wrong way, but coming on here and making comments like this in one of your first 2 posts will not make many friends here.

Just because no one waves at you doesnt mean you have to get your panties in a bunch. You sound like a HS chick trying to start drama.

Never been a passenger either. Never met anyone I could trust enough. I trusted their riding skills, just did not trust they would not knock me off the back

Mock me not, goodtimes... riding %%%%% was where I got the interest in bikes interest begot curiosity, curiosity begot desire, desire begot an interest to learn more, and interest to learn more begot the MSF class I'll take, and later when more begotting occurs: my own bike.

See how the circle of life works?

Oh, i'm not saying anything about passengers.. was merely stating I never had the opportunity (or desire) to be one. I take my GF as a passenger a decent amount in the summer time.. trust me i'm not knocking it

Ya, I listen to it on my Ipod and take notes on the funny looks I get from people who think the IPod is just for music! Great show... the best one I heard was from November some time about this woman who had problems with her dog standing on the top of her truck while she was driving. I nearly coughed up a lung, i was laughing so hard!!

Also, we had nice weather here in TN last weekend, so I got my bike out for a while and noticed a lot of other riders on the road as well. So we'd wave at each other as we'd meet on the road, but I noticed that almost every one of them would always wave with the left hand down low to the side, almost like he was trying to give me a "low 5". Now I understand the left hand, because obviously your right hand is on the throttle, but why down low on the side of the bike? The first couple of times, I didn't take my hand off the grip. I just raised my fingers to wave similar to the way I wave to fellow drivers when I'm in my truck, but after I noticed all the other bikers were waving the same way, I started waving like that too.
I actually love these types of questions. The reason for down to the left and low is because your arms won't flop around. Your full dresser bikes it really doesn't matter. Fingers off the throttle works but it's sort of a lazy way. I tease the people saying if you wish to wave that way go buy a harley
