I'm thinking Vinnie's is a little faster than that.

Thanks gentlemen, this has been a very knowlegable thread, we should have called it, roll on/roll off. The C90T really appeals to me, and that was my curiosity about roll on power. I did test ride last year, but it ran out of petrol in a mile, which made me nervous, and the shop had to come and get it. I will most likely pursue the C90T, whowever the M109 really sounds awsome, i'll have to look at my credit! You have all been very knowelagble and thankyou very much. |

think about the c109.....that thing has enough power to push me back in my seat at any speed. read a review article stating they got it to 55 in first and has 120 hp. and peaks out torque at around 5500 rpm compared to most bikes doing it at 5000rpm. plus its liquid cooled instead of air cooled with a bigger tank.

I know this is a little late to chime in but, have you thought about a sport touring bike? C90 has a small fuel tank so you'll be pulling up to get gas often. The Honda ST1300ABS has a large tank and you don't lean over the handlebars as much as you would on a pure sport bike. Another to check out would be the Yamaha FJR1300AE and the Kaw Concours. Just a thought....

or even an old st1100 - provided you can find one; something like a 6 gallon tank (similar as one might guess to the 1300).

What a crazy topic, it starts with the question of top speed for a c90 and ends with a debate as to whether an m109 is better than it's cruiser brother. you sure can rely on getting a laugh from forums. Back to the topic ... I have had my C90 up to 195Km/H, had to wring it's neck to get there though and it didn't have much more left. I think you'd need a lot of road to get any more out of it.

Was that GPS speed, or was it from the stock Suzuki spedo that is reported to read 10% high?

| Speaking of GPS speed, found out with my new tires that my speedo is right on.

| Yes. I went with Pirelli route 66 170/80/15 instead of 180/70/15. I think it is a tad taller than the stones.

looking like 136 mm tall vs 126 mm tall; so your speedometer will read a bit slow. about 3% slow if my math is right; so about 2 mph faster at 70 mph indicated.
