Pluses of the C50T were lower price, lighter weight (I'm 5'9", 150 lbs, wife is 124 lbs on a bad day so it's not like we'd be a heavy load) and a bigger fuel tank (that just doesn't make sense). Minuses were the spoked front wheel and tube tires.

Pluses of the C90T were tubeless tires and alloy wheels, and it was available heavily discounted from a dealer 5 miles away. It's an '08 model bought at the end of last December and he was anxious to get it sold before Dec. 31st so he wouldn't have to pay '09 inventory taxes on it.

Although it's heavier bike than I anticipated - 655 lbs dry - I'm getting used to it and the comfort level will rise with time, I'm sure. So far I like this bike a lot!

I did sit on a C109T and that one just felt way too heavy for me, and even the dealer acknowledged that for someone my size it would be a bit much.
You should be pretty happy with the 90. I am a bit bigger than you, wider not taller, and with my wife on the back I honestly cannot tell she is even there.

Some mods I would recommend would be 4" risers, backrest (several to choose from but grasshopper has it for around $100. some like it some don't) , hwy bars and pegs and a G-Tank If you ever do decide on a G-Tank you will need aftermarket pipes.

Get yer wallet out.

What does everyone think of the Throttle rockers? I'm looking to get a pair so i can cruise without hanging on the throttle and cramping up. I would get cruise control, but i'm in california, way to many cars.

If you have an opion please speak your mind. i would like to know your thoughts.

Depends on you. Many people love them, but people also said they get in the way, or they had the glove catch it.

Now I have the cruise control, and I ride with my thumb close enough to hit the break away if I need too. I also have ribbed grips to take the strain off my throttle hand so I can ride with a loose grip

I tried the throttle rocker and really did not like it. I know a few that really like it. I use the Kury. throttle boss and that works great for me. I also have a Vista Cruise but never use it for more than a few minutes.

I can say I'm new to the motocycle after absent for so many years. I know many of the members are owners of C50 or M50. Ratings on these bikes from our members are pretty high and I like the look of these bikes too. When I went to Suzuki's site to check on these models, they look all the same to me. I also found out there is another model S50 which apparently has the same engine. I'm confuse. Can anyone please tell me what are the differences between these bikes so I will have a better idea of what I should look for when Spring comes?

I'm been researching a lot of bikes that will not only fit my budget but also fit a daily rider for 60 miles round trip.

I went with a 08 M50, Black, not only appealing but fuel injected/shaft driven, not to big on the HP right now but i don't care about that, i'm just starting. a friend of mine has one, i tested it out, and liked it, of course i want to do my own mods to it, but i'll get my bike in the next few weeks. I got a great deal on it, 08 M50, 863 miles on it for under 5200. can't beat it.

Again, i just wanted to stop in to say hi to everyone. I promise to make my comments shorter next time. LOL.

To make up for the small fuel capacity I also found this site:

Tour Tank Order Page

This one does not require aftermarket pipes and capacities go up to six gallons. That ought to be enough!

I have seen those tanks, gravity feed which is OK. But I really like my G-tank. fabricated specifically for my bike, hidden as much as possible and keeps the center of gravity very low. Run low on gas and simply flip a switch to fill.
