I'm looking to buy my first cruiser, and I've found 2 bikes that I'm looking at. I went to see them both today and also rode both of them. Both bikes are stock and seem to be in excellent shape. One is a 2005 Yamaha V Star 1100 Custom with 5400 miles. Can get it for $4200. The other is a 2007 Harley Sportster 883 Custom with only 440 miles. Can get it for $5500. I like the looks and the sound of the Harley better, but I think the V Star would probably be more comfortable on longer trips. If they were the same price, I'd probably go with the Harley, because I do like it better, but I'm not sure I like it $1300 better. What say you?
