Hello, I need some advice Please - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I am 49 yr's Young and have always owned a bike until my child was born 13 years ago, My last bike was a Goldwing. I have had 6 back surgery's the last being about 9 yr's ago, Although i rode the wing with no discomfort, it's a bit large/heavy for what i want now. lets say you have 10k MAX to spend, you want a crusier, but it MUST be smooth have a low center of garvity (i'm 5'7''-200 Lb's) what would you buy, what do you recomend? i've been looking at a NEW OLD STOCK 2008 (maybe it's an 07) Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classsic LT, about $8000.00 drive out I like this set up because i dont need anything else for my wife or kid to ride with me.

Please advise, the last time i purchased a bike they had bikes to ride, Not anymore i dont want to make a 10k mistake.

BTW, I live in Katy Tx, just west of Houston, Very close to many back country rodes, i dont plan on doing cross country trips but if i choose too i want to be able. this is going to be just for fun.
