Default After-Market Exhausts

Ok, so I'm getting new exhausts for my Honda Shadow Spirit 750. As a Christmas gift, I received Cobra Streetrod Slashdowns.

I didn't pick these. They were a gift. But my ignorance is a problem.

I originally wanted to get some after-market pipes mainly to get a real sound out of my motorcycle instead of a hushed factory sound. My concern was that I didn't want to get anything too loud. I want the low rumble, but I don't want my, nor my girlfriends, eardrums popping from the noise. I just want that good deep, heft of a sound. Not the loud pop.

I don't know the difference in Dragsters, Streetrod Slashdowns, Streetrod, Classic Slashcut, and Drag Pipes. They are all the same to me at the moment.

I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me. I would hate to get these pipes put on only to find that my girlfriend doesn't want to ride because they are too loud.

Any help is great!
